What size monitor do you have ?

19 inch IBM 4:3
but i'm going to college next year. I'm going dual soon. Still, the sizes of the dual monitors will depend on how big my desk in my dorm will be.

dual 24"s? thts my dream right now. i was about to get them now, but itd be a dumb move if it wouldnt even fit in my dorm :(

37" HD LCD 1080P Westinghouse.

It's a BEAST to mount though. As it weighs 32lbs you have to find a stud to screw the mounting base into. :P
jaw drops awsome monitor:eek:
I have two 19in lcds although i only use one and then two for watching movies since hate the line in the middle when playing games or even online browseing

couldn't u just set them up as if u have two seperate desktops? i.e. put the game into window mode and fill up one monitor with the game and have IM on ur other monitor? or browse one site on the left monitor and another site on the other?

19in Hanns-G 1440X900 widscreen and an old 16in (viewable) CRT that is still sharp as ever at 1152X864, 75Hz.

It's pretty nice. I just moved so I'm sitting closer to it than I really like right now but it's really like looking at any other monitor. I may remount it so I can back it away. My issue comes from the mount actually doesnt sit center behind the LCD. It's either to the left or right when it's flush with the wall. I'll take a pic and show you soon. It's just finding a stud in this new house has been....interesting.

Be careful. If its a newer home(1997-on) there's a possiblity that it could have 20" or 24" stud centers. Since the housing boom in the late 90's the homebuilders were looking for quicker and cheaper ways to build homes and that was one of the ways they came up with, using 2x6's w/a wider center = less work and material for more profit.

Anyway, I mean be careful because you will need the correct bracket if the spacing is different. Also if its 5/8" drywall(aka a firewall) with anything behind it(wire, insulation, piping) a studfinder will give you a false positive.....sometimes.
