hey everyone. I trying to chose what size of hard drive should i get. i just bought a 160GB SATA 3Gb s Hard Drive 8MB 7200RPM 3.5IN Caviar Blue and stalled it in a DELL 4600 DIMENSION. Now i have another DELL 4600. Should i get another 160GB SATA 3Gb s Hard Drive 8MB 7200RPM 3.5IN Caviar Blue or should i get a 320GB SATA 3Gb s Hard Drive 8MB IntelliPower 3.5IN WD AV-GP. Right now it has a 80GB hard drive. this is computer will be used for making cds and dvds. thanks for the help

Well I guess that all depends on how much money you want to spend.

If you plan to burn the same CDs/DVDs more than once, it would be useful to have the image file stored on the drive - CDs are usually 1GB, and DVDs are anywhere from around 3GB-15GB (see here). So if you intend to burn lots of different discs lots of times, bigger is definitely better.

What sort of computer primarily burns CDs and DVDs? Are you running a pirating ring or what?

If money is no object, then you could get a 2TB drive! You could store lots of images there!
