im looking for a program to burn cd's, dvd's that kinda thing, i dont have a program thats specifically geared towards that, i have been using windows media player for my cd's but i dont know what to use for dvd's, i had recordnow on my laptop and i really liked that

just wondering what you guys are using and would recommend

ugh lucky, i want to upgrade but really, dont want to spend the money (i have been going on a money spending attack)

Wat do you need to burn? DVD's? ISO images? general data? I dont no but someone recomended DeepBurner to me, It may be crap Tho

Thanks TFT - I'll see if I can find that. I'm currently using ConvertXtoDVD which is free to try but places a watermark in the center if the video. It's good because it converts any video file to .vob and then burns it. I used it last night, and it took about 40 minutes to convert about 1.3gb of information and th en another 10+ minutes to burn the DVD.

It seems like a good program from what I can tell, but I haven't tried using all it's features, such as creating menus and whatnot.

i agree with temgenc and the basic backage ultra.
in fact i prefer the older ver's without all the pluggins.

i have cdburnerxp, dont like it too much, but i dont need somethin as good as nero 8, i just want to be able to burn cd's, make dvd's w/ the vids me and my friends make w/ our cars, cdburnerxp is ok for cd's, but w/ dvd's i like the old record now i had that gave u a lot of dif layouts and things to make the dvd's look better, i also need something that does lightscribe, i dont know what i need for that, my drive is lightscribe compatible but i dont know how to get that software, i didnt come w/ it

and that first post tellin me to read the rules? where did that come from, what did i do wrong here?
