What specs are the best for my uses for my computer?

I've decided to get a new desktop and i choose every bit of it! I will use my computer for gaming and I would like some help from anyone who will offer it to me! I don't know much about what I should get for my computer.

Please disregard any special casing or fancy additions you can get. I am interested in the components of the computer that would most benefit my uses.

I plan on playing games such as Starcraft 2, Skyrim, League of Legends, Minecraft. My price range is up top $950.

Any help on what specs would be the most effective to running these games the fastest with the price range I have. Thanks!

Id also appreciate a brief explanation of the components chosen so i can understand the reasoning behind it!

You can get a much better computer if you build it, plus it is fun and really doesn't take much time at all.

+1 and it takes around 2 hours for a average new timer. And a 40 minute video.
