I want to know the specs for a laptop that will run mainly Power point presentations to a projector. p4, intel celeron or AMD, What minimum processor speed? How much memory.

I am a bit confused. To try to answer your question let me say that almost any laptop that you can buy will have the processing power to run MS Powerpoint presentations.

Yeah. With that kinda spec 256 ram would be fine. Integrated video would be fine. But I would suggest a Centrino processor. Dothan > Banijas. I am suggesting Centrino because they have an extraodinary battery life. And they are kinda like AMD, 1.8 ghz centrino is llike a 1.8 ghz amd. * 2800+ I believe? *

Integrated video would be fine
In all but the highest end systems, it will be integrated video.

if that is all you need a laptop for, then a celeron will just do, but don't expect to do wonders with it.
Indeedy however the Mobile Celeron gets somewhat unfairly tainted by it's desktop cousin. The Mobile Version actually has 256K of cache as opposed to the 128K on it's desktop version :)

Hmm.... That's quite odd... Intel's whack..
Nah they just learned from the consumer backlash against the desktop celeron... to be honest the mobile cele's arent that far behind their "full" brethen :)

If you're getting the PentiumM, if possible, try and grab the 2004 edition (which i believe have just started to become readily accessible) ... the 2004 edition comes with a lot more battery life and improved performance (as compared to the 2003 PentiumM)
