You know those ultra high speed modules require at least 2.4V to run that fast. Generally you can get slower RAM to run at similar speeds with that much voltage, some newer motherboards wont let you run that much voltage through your RAM. At stock voltage you are probably lucky to get PC6400 out of it.
Exactly, thats why with some previous version of DDR2-800+ RAM, they wouldn't post because their motherboards couldnt supply enough voltage.
It also shows that you could easily just get DDR2-533/667, raise the voltage and raise the timings, and you will have your own DDR2-800/1066 memory.... for a fraction of the cost.
