What speed RAM?

What speed does a 754 pin Semptron 3000+1600mhz HT use? DDR33 or DDR400????

It can use both but im pretty sure that DDR 333 is the standard but if you have DDR 400 then you can use it but it will downclock itself to DDR 333.

Here is the link to the board. My Dad is going to wait and I'm giving him my X2 once I upgrade so we're trying to get him somthing cheap to get by with. Newegg has the CPU for $77, I'm hoping he can use his two 512 sticks of PC2700 with it.

Yup he can use his PC2700 with it it will work fine it may not be in dual channel if youll using 754 but if your using 939 it will be in dual channel.

Yes, you can run 184-Pin DDR RAM with socket 939 motherboards. PC2100/PC2700/PC3200 all work with it, however to get the most performance you should use PC3200.

I thought that you had to have DDR400. Thanks for clearing that up.
