Product Name: HP Elitebook 840
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
My HDD is starting to get a little slow and I want to upgrade to an SSD. I borrowed an empty SSD from a friend to test the speeds but it didn't show up in BIOS. This is a standard Samsung SSD that should work. Is there a problem with my computer or is it compatibility problems with the SSD brand or type?
I am also looking into upgrading from 8GB to 16GB RAM can somebody link 1 stick of 8GB RAM that will work with my computer without replacing the current 8GB stick.
SSD I used: Samsung SSD 840 PRO 128GB (Model number: MZ-7PD128)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
