i'm not one to be a tight arse but..... instead of buying those seemingly OVERPRICED screenwipes- is there another solution lurking in my cleaning cupboard that i could use to clean my TFT with that anyone could suggest.

I hear people swearing not to use stuff like Windex on it. However, that's what I ALWAYS use on mine. All seems well 
The biggest problem I beleive is that many LCD's are suppose to have some coating on them, and the more abrasive Windex-type stuff.

what about babywipes or those handwipes that come with K.F.C

Haha... Well, they'd probably clean just fine, but I don't know if they'd streak...

well i may as well get something usefull out of K.F.C, after all.... when you've finished with the legs and breasts, there's only a greasy old box to put yer bone in !!(know what i mean)

Great site. Just look for an ammonia free cleaner and dilute it with a bit of water. Don't soak the cloth so much that it drips just get it moist and wipe away. If you've got crusty pizza sauce or spilled coke on the screen you may need to soak it first and catch anythign that drips, then wipe it when it gets softer. Also, change your eating habits

people shouldn't eat things over their computers anyway, the amount of people i know who have keyboard faults due to crumbs and other crap in amongst the keys.
