i'll be playing a game for like 20mins or less and then suddenly like everything will go like a weird blue colour and it will just scew up, and it all freezes, helpp its a brand new comp that i put togther.

AMD Athlon 64X2 Dual Core 6000+ 3.0Ghz
2GB of RAM
Nvidia GeForce 9500GT 1G
Windows XP Home SP2
Asus M3N78-VM

Could be because you are using XP, it doesn't support DX10, but vista does, so that could be the problem. Try updating the video card drivers.

yeh i've updated them everything is brand new i don't get it, the games i am playing dont use DX10? like even combat arms, Ghost Recon Advanced warfare and basic stuff like that, the game will go all weird like, flickering colours, all the walls will turn blue in some games. and then it'll just freeze up.now i only get like 5mins b4 it stuffs up
its really annoying haha cose i've been excited to use it

Just to be clear.

Does the whole machine freeze up and/or crash?

If it crashes. does it just go to desktop, or do you get BSOD, or does it restart the machine?

it crashed once to a blue screen saying it had to restart or somthing, um but usally it'll stay in the game but jsut frozen with crazy colours, somtimes, with a low graphic game, it'll keep playing the game but with the crazy colours. i usally have to restart the computer to do anything.

so i took the video card out and used the on board graphics Nvidia 8200 and it worked fine for the games it could do
maybe i've got a dudd graphics card?
or maybe a dudd plug?

have you gone into your bios and told it to use the PCI-E socket and not the onboard. that will sometimes give you a conflict and ends your crashing the computer.

um, i think it does it automaticly? but when the card is in, in the display adapters it says the 9500GT so i dunno how do u make it use the PCI-E socket?

Advanced>Chipset>Southbridge Configuration>
Primary Graphics Adapter: [PCIE VGA Card First]

I havent changed anything i think my computer did it automaticly
