What the ... is wrong with Amazon!?

So, I thought I would take a gander at Amazon for a video card, because I found some good deals there. But!, I noticed that their prices are all over the place for video cards.. Take this Radeon 6950 for instance: http://www.amazon.com/Radeon-6950-V...sr_1_164?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1316715396&sr=1-164

At first I was like , then I started scratching my head , and now I am wondering if someone could explain this to me..

Mind you, it is like a cluster F**k in the Amazon arena for computer parts.

Does anyone buy computer equipment from them on this forum? If so, how was your experience with it? And, there must be some sort of coupon program going on with prices like that..

its not uncommon for amazons pricing algorithms to mess up (its not amazon holding the stock or selling the item )

Ive bought a few items from Amazon. have to shop like every place else. Mostly Newegg and tigerdirect. Sometime Ebay, new and unopened. Always checked the feed back and how many items sold. Its new and unopened that is the key here.

not quite, they do sell and ship items directly. i use to box items that were bought from amazon.com at one of their warehouses in vegas...

That was an interesting read! I also noticed that you can buy from different retailers.. I didn't notice that when I bought my phone.

I'm gonna have to google how Amazon operates as a company now..
