Fastest Laptop
I have a macbook pro for about 2 years now but i really never got the hang of it, the only thing i like is navigating without mouse because its simple(slinding thing around, 1 finger, 2 fingers, 3,4...). Since i have some compatbility problems with documents and some engeneering programs from my university im going to buy a Windows laptop.
I can spend until US$2.000 but the cheaper the better for me.
I use my computer for multiple tasks such as:
-Watching movies and videos(youtube, netflix and other online movie websites),
-Lots of internet(multiple windows and tabs opened at the same time);
-Some simulation programs(autocad, arena, etc);
-Some presentations and university works;
-Video editing(gopro, movie maker);
-Very few game playing nowadays(maybe minecraft, counter strike, maybe ill buy skyrim if laptop is good but grafics were never my focus);
I would want it
-Betewen 14-16in(but if a more powerful laptop is 17, then ok);
-As light as possible(not that move around so much but its better right?);
-Fast to execute tasks, programs, videos, etc;
-Loud speakers would be nice;
-Large batery spam;
-Not so hot(I use it in bed so it burns my chest);
-WiDi and other new technologies would be nice(but not essencial);
-USB 3.0, HDMI and whitchever other entrances you think is good;
-Durable for some years(I usualy use the same computer for long periodes of times, so it must be a good one not to be obsolete in 2 years or so).
I know its probably not possible to fill all requierments like having a good performance and also lasting batery or a light machine. Thats why I´m looking for advice, if you say buying an alienware 17 is worth it or should i head in other direction like Thinkpad T440. I thought that in my case i should by a Gaming Laptop because its speed would be good for all my other uses right?
Bottom line is, i want a really fast laptop, to browse the web with 20 pages open and watching videos at the same time.
