Hi all
When I run cleanup it won't finish. It gets to the deleting temp files and then it stops.I have a problem with the program cleanup. It used to work fine until a few days ago. I was running 3.1, so I uninstalled that then installed the 4.0 version, but it is still doing the same thing. Any suggestions as to whats wrong? Thanks a lot guys.
 
Why dont you try manual Clean Up thats what i do. Although its time consuming its a good thing to know what you are deleting >-
 
Are you certain it's not just taking a long time to delete a large number of temporary files?

Try using ATF Cleaner and see if it will clean out the offending files:

Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune.
This program is for XP and Windows 2000 only
  • Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
  • Under Main choose: Select All
  • Click the Empty Selected button.
 
Cleaning each item manually would also work, but it's a lot of unnecessary effort to clean out each item individually. Programs like AFT Cleaner and CCleaner make the job a lot easier if you're going to be doing it a lot.
 
CCleaner Removed my Browser IE completely whats left is only the "icon" that i never used..
Did me a good favor.
