What to get: Intel P4 3.2 or AMD Athlon64 3500+?

Yeah, apparantly the P4 3.2 640 has EM64T, if thats the same. Like I said, the price is almost identical, 5$ difference.

But, if I were to get the P4 I'd get it in a combination with an Intel Desktop Board D945PSN, so maybe that goes in Intels favour, is that a decent MB?
 
ye em64t is 64 bit technology but its up to you most people on this site favor amd as they are supirior in games do well in video editing of corse below intel but not by that much ect but hey options yours

In this case, just get whatever is cheaper just as others said. I would lean towards the 3500+ but whatever you want. The intel processor is fast also but I believe that you would get better performance from the 3500+ (probably not real-time noticible though).

EDIT: I think I'll recommend the 3500+. Anyone else got different thoughts?

Like I've said, the price is almost identical, so it's not really an issue mate ;)

So, basically all I'm interested is whats better between these two, as those are my choices.
