What To Look For???????

I'm pretty computer illiterate so I need to know what all of these terms mean like SLI, northbridge, southbridge, and alot more. I'm sure alot off people know these so just define as many as you can and eventually I'll learn some more stuff.

I suppose I can save you the time of searching on Google:

SLI - Scalable Link Interface (SLI) is a brand name for multi GPU's (Graphics processing unit) solution developed by Nvidia for linking two or more video cards together to produce a single output.

Northbridge - The Northbridge is traditionally one of the two chips in the core logic chipset on a PC motherboard.

Southbridge - Like said above, there is two chips in the core of the logic chipset. One is the Northbridge, the other is the Southbridge.
