what to upgrade?

i have a cheaper gmaing pc and want to know the best bang for my buck upgrade(prices in cad)
i bought this prebuilt and dont understand computers. it was a rebuilt gateway fx

intel core i7 920, 2.66ghz processor
geforce 9500gs grapics card
12 gb ddr3

How much can you spend? The best upgrade that comes to mins is a GPU. Depending on how much you got you could get a RX 460, GTX 1050Ti or RX 470.

That 9500GS is pretty awful for gaming. As per others, what power supply do you have?

If it's sufficient then a new GPU would give you the best cost/performance upgrade.

Also, when did you buy this? The i7 920 came out in 2008.
