thealmightyone New Member Mar 4, 2007 #2 Get a SATA hard drive. Doesn't matter if it's SATA/SATA2/SATA150/SATA300. As long as it's SATA. SCSI hard drives need a PCI controller card, which isn't cheap at all. IDE drives were the HD's we had before SATA. SCA drives seem to be an adaptation of SCSI drives, and will require controller cards as well.
