Im having trouble figuring out what video card I have. I just reformated my computer and when I go into my device manager, under Other devices it lists Video Controller (VGA Compatible) with a yellow question mark by it. I need help to find out what card I have. I tried opening the case up but I have no idea what to even look for in there. I also saw somewhere to use Everest home edition but i have no idea how to look at what its saying there. Can anyone help me?

Thanx in advance :)

What I would do is download the ATI and nVidia drivers, try to install noe of them, and if you dont have an ATI or nVidia when you install their drivers, it will tell you. Then once you find out if it's one of theirs, you can run dxdiag and it will tell you the type of card.

I just chose ATI and nVidia since their the most common, but you may have a different card.

Everest would be the easier way. Just click display > PCI/AGP video, and it should display your video card there.

well in everst home it is telling me Device Description Device Type
VIA/S3 UniChrome Video Adapter

how would i find that?
