What was your First computer like

I can't remember what the first one was apart from that it was black and white and i used to play larry the lounge lizard on it. I was pretty young so I have no idea what make or model it was. I know that the next one was a 386 with Windows 95 on it. We actually only got rid of it last year when we upgraded my grandfathers computer. It had a state of the art dot matrix printer hooked up to it.

my first computer was my dads old laptop haha. IBM thinkpad. about 10 centimetres thick. didnt say the cpu speed. 64 mb ram. no usb ports of anything haha. windows 95

Eh...

P166
Intel Motherboard
16MB EDO Ram
3.2GB WDC ATA66
ISA Sound Blaster 16bit Sound Card
16x CD Drive
Floppy Drive
1MB S3 Virge GFX

Still have it. Runs... just I didn't getta OS on.

An Amstrad 6128 given to me with a load of magazines that had programs written in BASIC. I sat their for hours typing in one line after another and when the time came to run it, up came an error but in BASIC it always pointed to the line that you typed wrong, like missing a space.

Then WOW! sort of all it did was move a big blocky graphic around and along the bottom was a gun to shoot it with and this moved sideways with the arrow keys.

I think it had four colours as well:o

I remember in Kindergarten to about second grade or so we had those "Box like" IBM's that had the monitor, mobo, etc. built all in the same case. Then the school upgraded to Gateway's with P3's!

In 1st grade we had a computer that had learning games on it that came on 5 1/2 inch floppy's!
