what wattage do i need for old computer

hi,

my power supply on my old computer died and i need a new one and was wondering what to get. my computer processor is amd duron and has 224mb ram. i only need a cheap unit but dont know exactly what i should get or what wattage. any help most appreciate. thank you
 
Is it a Socket A/462 with a ATX Power Supply? Sure it doesnt have a AT Power Supply? Does the Power Connector have a single 20 pin connector (ATX)? Or does it have two 6 pin connectors that plug in beside each other (AT)?

thermal reactor, thanks for your input i will get any 300w psu unit then

stranglehold, my unit has the 20 pin connector so i guess i would then need to get any atx 300w psu.

thanks a lot for both your help

just out of curiosity will a 200w or 250w psu unit work since i see them selling it on ebay?
