RAM is hardware, actual components inside the computer that you can't just "download". If you want more RAM, depending on what type your computer takes, just buy some, DDR2 is piss cheap nowadays and even DDR isn't unreasonable pricey - yet. SDRAM or anything older - probably not worth it.

You cant download RAM!! You cant download physical hardware. lol You must find some online and buy it. Then install it into your pc case.

you won't, you turn the PC off, unplug the power cable, put the ram in, plug the power cable in, boot up, everything should go sweetly from there on....

You CAN NOT download hardware. Hardware means the physical, concrete stuff that's inside the case (and also the case itself is hardware), like HDDs, motherboard, CD/DVD drives... oha nad things like mouse&keyboard are hardware as well. Obviously, you can't download keyboards, mouses, Hard Drives... or RAM. Only SOFTware can be downloaded, that's the non-physial/concrete stuff on your computer that's made up of tons of 1s and 0s. However, there is no software RAM in existence.

You don't need a pro to do it, just put it in yourself. RAM is so cheap nowadays... what computer do you have/how old is it? If it's, say, about 4 years old chances are it takes DDR ram which you can still get for pretty cheap, or if it's note ven that old you can get DDR2 which is even cheaper at the moment - you'd have to live in a box if you couldn't afford some DDR2

one thing to note, dont force the ram in. If it doesnt fit nicely, odds are its back to front or the wrong type, or the latches are closed. However also bear in mind that once its in, its a good idea to ensure its in tightly.
