One for each channel. Generally the first of each pair of dimm slots is a different color like blue or green with the others black. That would be A1 and B1. Refer to the board's manual for installing memory. That will point out which combination of slots are used for this. Page #27 in the manual seen at http://www.dfi.com.tw/Upload/Manual/87730551.pdf show which are the A and B memory channels in the board diagram there.
For whatever reason the RAM he has will not dual. According to the manual yuor RAM will clock down to DDR-333 if it is double sided and not in dual channel.
I remember you have a few threads about this RAM, is it new?
The fsb would be set at 200mhz in the bios for DDR400 PC3200. But with PC2700 DDR333 you have to backdown that to 166mhz. If you have all dimm slots filled or both on one channel like in dimm slots #1+#2 the fsb by default backs down to 333mhz. Chapter 2 pg.29 shows the chart for this. Both dimms do have to be the same type. (fsb settings: 2x200=400mhz 2x166=333mhz 2x133=266) You would see the best results by ordering a matched pair of PC3200 DDR400 memory and reviewing the board's manual.
Memory dividers so you don't have to adjust the HT frequency should be handled automagically when it clocks it down to DDR-333. If not you'll have to play around with the settings in the Genie section of the BIOS. The manual isn't very helpful here so reading the inBIOS help is probably your best bet.
