What would be a fair current value for my system ?

I am considering selling my current system, interested to find out what you guys think is a fair price, obviously i want to get the most i can for it, but want to price it keenly enough to get interest.

The spec is in my sig, but i will quickly note what i paid at time.

4gb corsair ram £21

xfx 6850 £105

I am planning to sell via gumtree and ebay, but if anyone knows of any specialist sites in the uk would be much appreciated.

Thanks spirit that is around the area i was thinking, do you think i should include my windows 7 and just buy a fresh copy for new build.

My thinking was anyone buying a pc of that price and spec would most likely have their own copy of windows ?

I think most people buying would like Windows to be installed for them, so yeah you could sell your copy so long as it has been removed from all the other machines.

Might be easier to get a new copy and charge the buyer for that too. I think Home Premium SP1 x64 OEM is about £80, so you could may sell the PC for around £430 with an OS (350+80=430).

If your OS is retail copy then keep it and get an OEM OS for the sale.

Also wipe your drive completely to remove sensitive data. You can use Dban.
