What would be the best (well rounded for gaming, and including pci-e) mobo.

I am looking for a mobo for my "ugm" I don't want one that is like a million dollars or anything. I just want one that is good for gaming and will support 2 geforce 7900's sli or any of the new 8 series cards (which should support direct x10 right?).

I would also like it to be able to hold a amd dual core processor.

With at least 1 gig ram (maybe hold up to 4 gigs)

Also it needs to be big and ready for a lot of "stuff" to be on it like 2 hard drives on mirror raid.

Hi,

I also recommend this series of motherboard and I do know from first hand experience since the A8N-sli deluxe is the board I am presently running. These models are all great boards. The A8N-sli is the entry level of this series, but still a good board without some of the more advanced features.

The three preferential models of A8N are: A8N-sli deluxe, A8N-sli Premium, and A8N32-sli. All are great boards and will run the equipment you are talking about. As always, don't buy until you read the specs and understand what you are buying.
 
The one I'm using in my sig is probably the best motherboard I've ever come across. So far no problems and it can handle socket 939 64, x2, and fx processors and comes sli ready. It was only $129 at tigerdirect. Right now I'm running BF2 on all high settings with my rig. Check it out.
