...if i ended every process except "explorer" would it run faster??? i mean even system processes and user... thx
 
men thats a nice idea but i hope you're the only one to attempt it.You know what u shud do.Install windows XP in VMWARE (for test purposes) then try it.I bet you u will end up with Blue screen...lol..
 
you will get the message that system critical processes have been ended, and that the pc willl reboot in 30 seconds. =o I've tried that already. (well.. ending some processes to see what they were for :P )
