What would we do without computers?

Well, today at the pizza place I work at, our two computers we use for taking orders shut down. We had to resort to writing the order down on a pad of paper and running it up to the front computer to print out a ticket with the price and all the toppings for the pizza makers. This obviously caused a lot of hassle and confusion.

This lead me to wonder, how did they get along without computers ten years ago there. When all there was was the pad of paper. They obviously did it somehow. I wonder what would happen to our society if all of the sudden our computers were taken away. We are so dependent on them now, I think it would be years before we would adjust.

I guess this was just a pointless rambling post but I do tend to wonder about stupid things like this often.
 
Well you would not have to run the tag from the computer in the back to the computer in the front would you.. Proabably have all the payment stuff in one area.. Its not that it would be difficult to do, it would be difficult to stop learning and using a way which we have used for a good amount of time.

Fat chance. Even if I didn't have a computer I wouldn't go out of the house, and even if I decided to go out of the house, I'd still wear my jacket. Bah. Melanin is for the weak.:P (Yes, I do wear a jacket year-round...in the desert...even at Ozzfest a couple years ago...all day...in the sun...)
 
And where would you get your money to spend if you was to go out the house? How would you drive your car? Wash your clothes etc... nearly every electrical device today has some sort of computer in it.

seroisly people don't need to leave there house, They can buyy a house online and rent it to someone without leaving, they can order from a grocery store and have it delivers then have make money (desigining webpages, renting the house ext ext.) sleep and crap. Mianly becauase of computers they make the money and have EVERYTHING delivered to their house, even pizza's now.
 
See, one has to balance the things in life, such as computers and women. The problem is that both have addictive things about them....computers are overall addicting, and women....well, that's obvious...so one must decide which is more important....:)
