What would you add or change?

I'm serious, as hard as that might be to believe, I truly am.

Edit: Grats on the 2,000th post :D

I would go with the Antec 1200 case, it would run much cooler than the one you picked even with water cooling. A few of the options are a bit much for me, not my style. But otherwise I wish I could afford it.

Edit: One more change, go with the
ASUS Rampage II Extreme LGA 1366 Intel X58 ATX Intel Motherboard

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131352&Tpk=rampage%20II%20extreme

It will be a much better option for overclocking.

But if you do pick the Asus, you will probably need to re think your choice of ram.

Simple enough, I'm assuming OCZ doesn't work very well with it..

Now I just need to find a waterblock for the NB on that Asus..

I would suggest some
CORSAIR XMS3 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Triple Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Retail

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145222

But really, I have been out of the computer game for a few months, so there might be a better choice ddr1600 I picked.

But that motherboard would be awesome! And it gets great reviews.

I did get a corsair, but I got the 1866 mhz version

As far as needing a cooler for the northbridge on a x58 board, I don't think there is really a need anymore. Most of what the northbridge used to do is now done on the CPU, so the northbridge will run cooler than they used to.

True enough, but I managed to find a waterblock for the NB and SB for only 70 dollars, figure I might as well.

Your sure the antec 1200 will cool better?

Considering I will be adding 3x 140mm fans to the Thermaltake on top of it already having a 120, a 140, and a 230 built in.

Either the Antec 900 or the 1200 are the overclockers standard case now. It just depends on how big a case you need. The 1200 is bigger than the 900. Plus they just look better than the thermaltake. And there is no need to add extra fans, as the case comes with all you will ever need.

1866 is not supported by that board. Or either of the boards you are looking at. ( hope I am not talking out my ....)

Take a look at that motherboards manual located at the following link. Make sure you pick the English version. Then find the preferred ram selection on the manual. It starts at page 45 of the manual.

http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?SLanguage=en-us&model=Rampage%20II%20Extreme

It's supported..I'm not sure what your talking about

Look: http://img360.imageshack.us/img360/5900/2000mhzcz0.png

1866 is supported? I see ddr3 1800 being supported, not 1866. There is a difference between the 2 you know.

Oh wait, with an upcoming bios upgrade the 1866 will work, but until then?

And it looks like you can overclock the 1600 ram to those specs with no problem, but then again, its your money. :)

Not tonight, I am heading to bed, have a great new year. And I would love to have the money you have to spend. But I am married with mortgage, so no go.

Thanks for your help, and good luck with the mortgage, I had my share of that bs. I'm sure you will catch a break sooner or later. :D

Anyone else is welcome to throw in some ideas or comments.

Edit: I'm thinking about reducing the size of two of the three monitors, three 25.5" monitors to me seems a bit exessive, maybe 1 25.5 and two 22s

i'm screaming in my head right now, but don't get those ssd's whatever you do, these are much better: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820167005 and i would suggest getting a raid controller for better read/write times: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16816131003 as for a case look at this place: http://www.mountainmods.com/ as for your watercooling parts, look at this place: http://www.petrastechshop.com/ oh, and corsair is coming out with some 2ghz ram that runs at the 1.65 volt limit, probably going to be some of the fastest ram around
edit: look here, this might help you decide what you want to do when you actually build it: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/forumdisplay.php?s=&daysprune=&f=286 i would also suggest these fans if you do use radiators(and a fan controller too): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835185054
