My computer's spec:
E8400
8800GT
2G ram

The PSU I am currently using is Coolmaster Extremenoisy 650W and yes it really is noisy so I'm looking for a new one. There are 5 of them which I'm considering.

Coolermaster Realpower 620W
Corsair TX650W
Corsair HX620W
Antec Truepower 650W
Antec Neopower 650W

I'm looking for the best one and as silent as possible.
Which PSU to go for my current setup?
Which PSU to go if I plan on upgrading it like going SLI?
Thanks in advance!:)

C'mon! Where is the Thermaltake toughpower 650W? lol. For what your running any of those will be fine. Both the Antecs will easily be sufficient and capable of SLI support, i'm not so sure on the Corsair ones though.

I have an Antec Neo Power 650w and I think it's great. I have all kinds of stuff hooked up and it never misses a beat. The modular cables are nice and long also.

The Coolermaster Real Power 620w is a very nice PSU. I was looking at one in the local computer shop the other day. They have a GTX 280 running with it. The cable system is I think the best I have seen, very nice in many ways. The max output is actually 700w but it's rated a 620w PSU.

All in all any of those will be just fine....all are quality name brand units with plenty of power.

I would pick the Corsair HX620W. It's modular and it's Corsair, therefore it wins :D Although any of those would be fine. I have the OCZ ModXStream 600w, and I would recommend that to almost anyone. It's modular, by OCZ, and only about $90, so it also wins. And it's just as stable as my old Corsair 750 watt was.

I am a corsair fan...I have owned 9 of their PSU over my builds/friends/family and they have always been quality and well priced if you are a patient buyer like me.

(got my 750w for 65 bucks 5 months ago and I never hear it cept on start up)

So I would go with Corsair TX650W or the TX750w PSU.

Having more then you need allows for no issues later for upgrades thus save you money from having to buy a new PSU each build.
I got my 750w when I was using a X2 4400+ so when I upgrade to Q6600 it was just enough juice...can even jump to a 4870 without issue if I wanted :)

Looks like they are all of quality products.
What if I'm looking for a silent one? as it's the only thing i don't like about my current PSU

i cant speak for any for the others but i know that the Coolermaster Realpower 620W is a very quiet and the power output is very stable.
