OK so im looking for something low - mid range motherboard, building computer for my brother. I'm not too good in this feld as i only usually go for high end mother boards

I'm looking at the P5N-E SLI at the moment, I'm looking for something around that price. I live in New Zealand so its around $150 - $200 NZD, 74c(NZD) to a $1(USD),

would like one for AM2 and LGA775 thanks, needs onboard LAN and sound, sata2 support, firewire, 2 PCI slots, 1 PCI-E(I'm sure 99.99% of new motherboards have these)

I ordered that board and it arrived today, and I have to say to quality is fantastic!

May I ask where you ordered it from and what revision did you get(should be 2.0 or 3.3). I'm Looking into that board, but only the rev 3.3 can support 1333 FSB and I want that on the board I pick out.

The 945 is an older chipset. But, if you are looking for cheaper mobo, then the 965 isn't a valid choice. However, this mobo as you can see from above, is one of the top of line mobo. It will basically support any 1066 or 1333 FSB on the CPU. As for the fourth item down, the last one...

What I found was this... that's what makes it slightly different.

ATI CrossFire
With support for ATI CrossFire, GIGABYTE pushes the envelope once again by delivering highly optimized performance and flexibility demanded by power users and extreme gaming enthusiasts. Designed to provide unmatched multi-GPU support with dual PCI Express connectivity, the GA-965P-DS3P (rev. 3.3) allows users to take advantage of the ultra smooth 3D rendering, blazing-fast frame rates and enhanced visual quality possible with a dual graphics card solution

So, if you intend to render 3D graphics at blazing-fast frame rates, then the DS3P is an excellent choice.

I really discovered something... interesting...

there all within $20 differance of each other so its not really much differance so price of them are cheap.
