What's a good cooler?

I'm looking for a good cooler for my Athlon II x4 630 that's going to arrive this week sometime. I just don't like stock coolers for any reason and I've already ordered some more thermal paste (AS5)

Probably won't be overclocking at first, or I will be without raising voltages, I've read the 630 can get to about 3.5ghz on stock voltage.

I've got about $60 to spend on a cooler.

I have the Xigmatek Dark Knight. It is a great cooler but I had to mod it so that it points towards the exhaust fan.

I ran the CNPS9500 for a while. Great cooler. 6 heatpipe contact and it cools your chipsets as well

A bit smaller with no led and PWM control rather than fan mate 2.

I used this to help mount my Dark Knight.

Since the CM Storm Scout has exhaust on the top and back it works fine being mounted horizontially. However, this heatsink is tall and it will not allow the top side panel fan.

Are you selling your current HSF too? If not, use that, I have the same on my 720BE and even though it isn't the best chip for overclocking, so needs fairly high voltages and puts out a fair bit of heat, still sits below 40. If you don't have the clip, it is just a standard AM2/AM3 clip that comes with near any heatsink, you could probably get away with using a retention kit from another heatink, which would be cheaper than a full new heatsink and probably give you better pressure too

Yeah I'm selling it because I actually lost the AMD mount when i moved. *headdesk*

I could always buy another Red Scorpion, reckon that would be a good move? you guys have some great suggestions there too.

Tuniq Tower 120 Extreme is what i have, its great.

Also comes with AM3 Brackets & fan controller.

the corsair h50 liquid cooler is amazing! and its an affordable liquid cooler. its incredibly easy to install and works for both amd and intel. keeps my OC 3.6 i7 at 35c! its even better that ur using as5. :D

I would imagine it would cost a hell of alot more than $60 (AUD, not USD ;)), and it isn't a whole lot better than a decent air cooler, which costs much less
