whats a good cpu for my gfx card

i have an ati x1600xt, and currently i have a athlon 64 3200+ running with it. i know that my cpu is probably bottlenecking my system, so i want to know what amd cpu would be appropriate for my card so that neither were bottlenecking each other. i dont plan to do a whole lot for change seeing that sooner than later this system will be handed down and i will then start from scratch. thank you

Assuming your verson of the 3200+ is a socket AM2, this should be a big performance increase, and its only 98 dollars...
