So i guess im gonna have tobuy a new pc to play oblivion(best game out). Whats a good comp for around 400 after adding a nice graphics card??? Plz help me out my name says it all!!!

Like I said I would wait till you your budget goes over 600$. For example: Processor 140$, mobo 80$, Video 140$, RAM 80$, and then you got the cd drives, h/d, and case.

That example was based on the low requirements for Oblivion.

For $400 you will most likely NOT be able to play oblivion. Hell, a lot of graphics cards alone go for over $400.

so a computer not including a video card?

You asked: Whats a good gaming comp for around $400?

We answer: there is no such thing as a good gaming comp for around $400

Bingo. Like was said earlier, wait until your budget is around $600, i assume you would want a PC which would last more than a few months. For $400, that PC would be already outdated even before you buy it.

I'm a little confused as well. Do you already have a good video card you will be using? If so, is it AGP or PCI-E?

Take a look at Praetor's $500 gaming machine. Without the video card, and given that prices have dropped since that thread was posted, it should be significantly under $400. Don't expect great performance out of a system at this price, though.
