whats a good tempeture range?

I have a P4 2.4 C its usually around 75 Degrees F. at full load may get up to 82 F is that an ok tempeture to operate at. My computer is also by a window in my room so when i start doing alot of stuff i can open the window and let so of the winter air in which usually keeps it around high 60's F is that too cold. is there such thing as too cold>?

One more thing right now i have an intake fan on the side and a exhaust on the top if i was to add another fan what kind would i add, i have room in the back of the case for a large fan, would that interupt the intake and exhaust fans?

I'm assuming that the temperatures you're quoting are the case temps. I've never heard of an air cooled computer (of that speed) with CPU temps that low.

is there such thing as too cold>?

I wouldn't worry too much as long as your not freezing anything. Normally the danger of over-cooling comes from the condensation of water at lower temps, but if the air is already cold it will have a low relative humidity thus no chance of condensation.

From the sound of it your case temps are low so you don't really need any additional fans.

Just be careful of condensation

No it wouldnt inturrupt :)
 
1. He's running a NorthwoodC .. those chips arent horribly hot to start with :)
2. My room is -12C .... and meat will still go bad :P
 
you can use a cold air intake from some sort of cooler and get similar results without leaving your window open and heater off when its -25 outside (which it currently is outside, *chilly* :))
