Whats best..4 the pc to run faster?

i have 2 x 80GB HDs
Now how should i split... my stuff .. :/
i had them all in 1 hd now i will but my movies,music,games..etc (around 20-30gb) tou my second hd so i can empty a little my primary hd is that a better way to keep my staff will that way run faster?

divide the files between the drives evenly. or just clear some out and organize it, dont cram it all in one drive. but the better idea is to get a RAID like theotherone said.
