Which is less likely to scratch the dvd?
witch is better for longevity?

At walmart they sell cd jewel cases for pretty cheap, but the box make no mention of dvd discs.
Would it be a good idea to put dvd discs into these jewel cases?
dvd discs and cd discs are exactly the same size and it should not make a deiffance right?

I always found the padded CD storage binders to work best. Think back to the late 90's/early 2000's ones that everyone 20-something had in their car.

Padded, zippered, can hold up to hundred discs, and each disc has it's own internal plastic sleeve. Much better scratch protection and if you drop it, the there's no movement of the disc and no jewel case to shatter.
