What's better? What's the difference?

Two motherboards for the same price? What would you recommend? Is there really any difference?

ASUS A8N32-SLI Deluxe Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce SPP 100 ATX AMD Motherboard

ASUS M2N-SLI Deluxe Socket AM2 NVIDIA nForce 570 SLI MCP ATX AMD Motherboard

One is a socket AM2, the other a 939... it depends on what type of processor you're getting/have.

EDIT: Also, one is DDR, the other DDR2, one 4GB, the other 8GB, and there are a few other differences.

I am going to be building a new comp and whichever processer I get depends on the motherboard compatibility. Unless I'm wong, you can't fit a 939 into a AM2 and likewise the other way around?
