What's better?

they both have there pros and cons, but ive always been a fan of windwos and ive heard of quite a few problems with Mac, not neccesarrily the OSX version
 
I don't like either, but Vista is definetly more compatable with most anything. Also, I know Windows XP, when benchmarked with a comparable machine or even Boot Camp, is faster than OSX.
 
Do you even have a Mac, or is this a thread just for the hell of it?

I know that OSX gets completely owned by Windows in marketshare, and Mac is going the Windows route on some of their computers. I dunno. I like the look of Vista.. It feels a little doggy at the moment, and I'd like to see the finished product before I make a judgement call. I've not used OSX, so can't really say there. All I know is that every time I hear someone talking about it it's always negative, if that says anything.

The question is: Are those people regular users of OSX? Or are they Windows users just trying to use OSX?
 
Personally I have used MAC before, and never really liked it. Even on their commercials all they have to brag about is having better initial programs, like iTunes. But windows has CALCULATOR!! And WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER! NOW who has the better initial programs?! =P

If you ask a bunch of people who use Windows on a daily basis, and then they try the OSX interface, and can't find what they need/want, then yes, they are going to react with negativity.
 
I have talked to people who use both extensively... and Windows wins in almost everything. I mean, Windows runs faster on Macs than OSX does! that has to mean something.
 
Oh yeah, if you don't like either OS, state your favorite one. I hear lots of people prefer Linux over all other OS's.
