What's downloading?

So, in the program bandwidth monitor pro, since I downloaded there has been something constantly downloading (and uploading) at about 2 kb/s
Is this normal? And if not, how can I figure out what it is?
 
what have you go going??? limewire will do it, if you have a HP computer i have heard that it uploads data to HP.
