Whats more important in Memory?

Is it better to have high frequencies like say 1200mhz with timings of only 5-5-5-15, or too have memory with lower frequencies such as 800mhz with timings of 4-4-4-12, at least for gaming?

The higher fsb seen at 1.2ghz would make an overall difference on everything while different latencies seen between are noticed only with the same fsb. The 4-4-4-12 would be somewhat noticable at 800mhz over the 5-5-5-15 seen with another set of memory at 800mhz. The gap between the 1/2ghz and 800mhz fsb is how much more data is processed in one clock cycle.
