Whats on ATI's website?

i went to ati's website today, and there is a countdown timer, but it doesnt say what its for. does anyone know?
 
well distance / time equals velocity.. I know that much :rolleyes:

lol, i was thinking that it had something to do with there new video card, but i didnt get that distance over time = velocity thing.

It looks like their new product: Radeon X1K... "Enter the World of Visual Velocity"
 
I thought there new cards were X1600-X1800. What is the X1000, jsut a lower version of the X1600? haven't heard of that one.

What the hell anandtech has an article on it but it doesnt say what it is... WHAT IS IT????????????????

Oh and I just realized the 7800GTX came out on my birthyday. I just find that cool for some reason :cool:
 
No, thats there backup plan if this new mystery product doesnt work.

Ok I just checked the site and its the X1K line like SFR said. Same wierd velocity catch phrase.
 
OH, fooled me lol.

indeed it is a mystery, you would think they would link to it very obviously to get people to want there products. all this confusion discourages me to attempt to dig deeper.
