ugh that's so dumb, it CAN go into 1080i, but its reccomended res is lower, however slightly. so, technically, you would have to take it OUT of native resolution in order to have true 1080i...
just a question, but why is 1080i important anyways? i have my monitor set to 1280/1024 and it looks great. my X800GTO powers right through it, overclocked to the speeds of a 7600...(some might call that a super-clock? eh? lovin it...) so, tell me, is the extra 100 dollars really worth the 100 extra width pixels?
EDIT: also, its an 8ms monitor, so gaming might lagg on super fast-paced games...
