What's the best processor I could get for this motherboard?

Nope, not much of a PCDoctor at all. I hope you pick this up, we measure in "pipelines" now.


I guess you can't go Core 2 Duo, you may wanna get a new board, if possible. The 478 Pentium 4's weren't that great, they sucked badly. But of course with the Pentium 4 go with a high 6** model number.

Unless this is a board you already own and your upgrading I would suggest a different board for starters ive built several computers for people asrock isnt the best company.
 
and Itanda I would totally go with that cpu to say the least I just bought an x2 5600 and it runs flawlessly...I even bought 2 gigs of 6400 ram for 110 bucks and it runs perfectly :)
