Whats the Diff

Hi folks, Any1 actually know the difference between XP Home & XP Professional

Im Running Home on my computer and Pro on my laptop and have never ever seen a difference.

Any1 know if there is any differences apart from the names?

Well one difference is in remote desktop, in windows xp home you can only send invitations for people to connect if you want someone to connect. On XP pro you can enable remote desktop connections so that someone can connect to your pc anytime without invitation, good for workstations in remote places that you may want to turn off or work on when no one is around to send an invitation.

XP pro has more networking features, and has backup, and has a different logo. Only major differences.

I don't even see the XP pro or xp home after the SP2 update anymore during startup. it just says, windows xp. and a blue loading bar. it was green for the home. no difference now, both blue after the sp2
