Hi, I am going to be purchasing a laptop from my local best buy, when I came across these two laptops. I was just wondering, what is the difference between them? They seem to have the same specs, but different prices and serial numbers.

Laptop #1: HP 15.6" Laptop featuring Intel Pentium Processor T4300 (G60-531CA) - Black
Cost: $549.95

Laptop #2: HP 15.6" Laptop featuring Intel Pentium Processor T4300 (G60-634CA) - Black
Cost: $649.99
Link: http://www.bestbuy.ca/en-CA/product...spx?path=2b9b53536f902d0257a2fd5e9de2e851en02

What is the difference and which one would you reccomend buying?

Thanks

Hard drives are different 320/500, DVD drives are different, one has wireless n.

As bkribbs points out the second one has wireless N as well as having the larger harddrive and it is also a faster harddrive.

They do have 4 gigs of the older DDR2 RAM and if you are fine with it the cpu is a single core.

No offense to The previous poster, but ythat is not true. If you look at intels website, you will see that the intel T4300 is in fact a dual core CPU.

Sorry; no intent to mislead. The original links you gave us did not designate the cpus as dual core. Didn't realize I had to access Intel's website to get this information.
