Whats the difference?

I'm currenly building a computer and the case I am buying says it comes with a 420 wat power supply, however... Going down the list it asks again what kind of power supply I want.

Do comps have two different power supplies, I am a bit confused. Just an FYI I was using Ibuypower.com, im not necessarely going to buy it from there but just looking at options.

Nothing personal, but you're far better building your own computer than buying a build one from builders like hp,gateway,acer,ibuypower etc.

And to what you asked, they give a choice of putting a better power suppy rather than use the one that comes from default on the case.
 
thank you, and yea trust me I have relized building my own is a far better idea money wise, those sites just kind of help me look at options in a straight row I suppose.
 
With a few exceptions, the ones included with a case are generally very poor quality. Naturally it depends on what sort of system specs you have, but it generally is worth getting a separate one.
