What's the easiest printer to unclog?

I have frequent problems with my Epson printhead clogging and it is very difficult to unclog. Is there a printer brand that is easy to unclog?

Epsons are tough to unclog because the printhead isn't part of the ink cartridge(s). HPs give you a new printhead with each cartridge change.

The only way I was able to really, really unclog my Epson C88+ heads was to get a small medical syringe connected to a small piece of tubing that fits over the little stub that pierces the bottom of the ink cartridge. Under the print heads, I put paper toweling. In the syringe is Windex. The ammonia in the Windex dissolves the dried, clogged ink as it's gently forced through the tube.

Unless you are getting the really low end HP Printers that still have the tri color cartridges they use separate print heads and cartridges.

If you do not print enough to keep the print heads clear, look into a laser printer. Much less hassle.

I have that problem now and not sure what to do. My wife has a HP designjet 110 plus. has not used in a few years. All gets back to the printheads as mentioned. $200 for new printheads.

You can get a good black and white laser printer for $100. Look at the Brother models. I'm also looking to get one of their multifunction black and white laser printers. My Lexmark multifunction is taking a crap after about 5 years.
