Whats the fastest most air blowing (lol) 120mm fan there is?

Lol

Anyway another question to add to the list too hehe.

This

Lol now I know your going to laugh, but this is four channels (4 fans) now... Is there a way to make channel one control a set of 4 120mm fans (the fans that you guys suggest as per above question) , channel two control another set of 4 fans, channel three control a set of 8 fans, and channel four control another set of 4 fans??

(Also, if you want to go for looks on a 12cm, you can do a buncha googling and look for a Thermaltake Cyclo 12cm blue/red pattern fan)

i put one in my case, can't wait to see what it looks like when it's on

what fans are you looking at? the only way to get 20 fans running, is if each set is under the total amount of amperage per channel(1amp) so for 4 that is doable(some fans are around .24 amps/channel) but as for the 8 fans, i doubt that would work unless you can get some that barely move any air, and as for running that many off of one channel, it will require some soldering

Yeah well the 8 fan one turns out not to be practible anyway. (some fans would be exhuasting the DVD drive lol so not much point, I could go to 6 fans on that channel but four would be suffice, so 4 sets of 4 fans?

Im looking at the Scynthe (spelling I know lol) Ultra Kaze 120x120x38mm the high rpm high cfm ones.

and as for running that many off of one channel, it will require some soldering

Couldnt you plug the fan controller into a small plug to 4pin molex converter then daisy chain all the fans with 4pin molex's (I have heaps of spare small plug to molex converters.

do whatever you want in terms of connecting the fans to the controller, just remember its not my fault if the controller blows up, as for the 4 scythe ultra kaze's, it won't work the way it looks(google search revealed that they are .6 amp draw per fan) so anything more than one would probably cause the kaze master to blow up, although you should be able to use these safetly, you need to look at fans that draw under .24amps each just so you know(if you want to use 4 per channel) or you could use two of these per channel while still being within safe limits

So I have to have the combined fans less that the channel ampage of the unit? Know of any high power fan controlers.

Maximum Fan Ampere per Channel 1A per channel

That means, each channel the total draw of the fans needs to be less than 1A.

The Kaze Master, which I own does alright. Except you might not like it because the max rpm is set at 1080 I believe.

The big boy, haha, isn't that what they named one of the nukes dropped on Japan? Oh wait.... that's the fat boy...similar

What case are you using that supports a 200mm?

Im building a custom case. If I could get a 240mm fan I would but that one is basically the biggest I can find it NZ
