I have a computer with the program Everest ultimate edition, (program that can see what parts my computer have). It says i have 2 DDR DIMM SLOTS and 2 SDR DIMM SLOTS. Two of them are used, probably the DDR DIMM slots. I need the name of a good pair of SDR DIMM memories, please help me, since i can't find the right one.

We'll need to know your computers make and model (IE Compaq Presario 3000) . I've never seen a computer with two different kinds of memory slots, and I've seen a bunch of computers...

If your motherboard has both types of memory slots, you will only be able to use one type at a time, you can't use both at the same time.

johnb35 - is that fairly common to have two different types of memory slots - I've never seen that..?

There aren't many boards out there like that. There were made for people that wanted to upgrade but wanted to use their old ram instead of buying new, but could change ram at a later date. There are boards out now that have both ddr2 and ddr3 slots. But again, can only use one type at a time.

They have been around like that for awhile. I use to have a few old socket 7 boards that had SIMMS slots with two SDRAM slots. Same as now though, you could not use both at the same time.
