Whats wrong with my firefox?!?!

I've had firefox for a few months and i love it and its fast to work then all of a sudden its not working and it says unable to connect whats going and can someone please help me fix it because its the best internet browser than the others

a couple things to check:

1) File -> Work Offline ... (make sure it is unchecked)
2) If you use a firewall, check that you haven't accidentally blocked Firefox. (I had a friend do that once, and it took me quite awhile to figure out. Who blocks their browser???)

I would just export all your bookmarks to a html and reinstall Firefox. After un-installing Firefox make sure to delete any folder corresponding to Firefox.

Folders located

C:\Programfiles\mozilla

C:\Users\XXX\AppData\Roaming\mozilla


XXX - UserName

Also, to export here's how you do it:

Bookmarks > Organize bookmarks > Import and Back up > Export HTML - then choose the folder where to save it.

I just reformatted my computer and I was so worried losing my bookmarked pages.

To check the windows firewall settings, to go the control panel through the start menu and you'll see an icon for windows firewall.
