Whats wrong with my laptop?

Does anybody have any idea whats wrong with my laptop and how much it would cost to repair.
I have a IBM Thinkpad 600E Laptop abd think the problem is my motherboard but im not quite sure.
When I turn it on it beeps once as usual then a second time, and error screen appears saying 'Error 08611', it says 'restart' when I choose that the same happens again, it also says test, when i click that another screen appears allowing me to chack various options, or it all. When checking, it crashes on checking 'memory', if checks 'system board' and below the small image it says:

Err 22
Fru 0010

Anybody got idea what this means and is it the motherboard? How much will it cost to fix do you think?

Note: Im in the UK, Lincolnshire, gainsborough.

I suspect it is the motherboard or the CPU

This indicates a track point error. It could simply be a loose cable under the keyboard but could also be a controller failure on the system board. The trackpoint cable could also be dirty or broken.
